After obtaining my real estate license in 2012, I knew this would be my career choice for the rest of my life. My desire to work with people and understand them began with the decision to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and secure a job as a counselor at Hays State Prison in Trion, Georgia. After a fast burnout there and not feeling like I ever significantly helped anyone or changed their life for the better, I began to ponder on how I could use my interest in people and my listening skills to help others. Thus, The Kelly Garland Group – Keller Williams Realty came to be. Becoming a real estate agent has more than fulfilled this wish.

In my first year in Real Estate, Keller Williams awarded me with the “Millionaire Agent in the Making” Award. Year after year, I’ve remained in the top 20% of agents throughout our Marietta, Cartersville and Rome offices.

Born and raised in Dalton, GA, I lived there for 30 years before deciding to move to Cartersville in 2005, where I’ve lived for 17 years. Having lived in each of these towns for so many years, I have an excellent knowledge of these areas and everything in between. I’m a member of both the Carpet Capital Association of Realtors (Dalton Board) and the Northwest Metro Association of Realtors (Bartow and Gordon counties). I’m also a member of multiple listing services that service these areas – Dalton MLS, FMLS, & GAMLS.
